Building authority with purpose: Get You At approach

He had years of experience and expertise, but little time to build his presence online while running the business.

The challenge was simple: how do we make his expertise visible and credible without taking him away from the business?

Get You At took responsibility for his LinkedIn presence, building it around his personality and expertise while keeping his involvement to a minimum.

Out-of-network reach
63% of impressions came from outside his network — new rooms, not the same ones. 1,264 members reached.

Reach grew 11× faster than the follower count

Impressions rose 378% while the network grew 33%. That gap is the whole story: the growth came from relevance, not from adding people. On LinkedIn, that's the signal that matters — the platform kept choosing to show his thinking to people who had never heard of him.

63%
The algorithm is recommending him

LinkedIn only pushes a post beyond your network when the first readers respond well. Nearly two-thirds out-of-network reach means the posts are passing that test, repeatedly.

1.6×
Seen more than once

2,042 impressions across 1,264 people — the average person saw him more than once. Repeat exposure is what turns a name into recall, and recall is what authority is made of.

74/day
A compounding curve, not a spike

An average of 74 impressions a day, added in a near-straight line. Nothing here depends on one post going viral, which means the next 300 days start from a higher floor.

Founders know they need visibility;
They don't know how.

The intent was never missing. He knew what he wanted to be known for and could say it clearly in a meeting. What was missing was a way to put that on a platform every week without it becoming another job on his calendar.

And LinkedIn rewards face. Not every founder is comfortable being on camera at every event, so the plan had to work around that rather than pretend otherwise.

Building for the algorithm while maintaining founder's voice

We started with the founder — how he thinks, what he defends, what he refuses to say — then mapped that against what LinkedIn distributes. Where face-led formats didn't fit, we found the alternative and used it.

The aim was never to publish posts. It was to build a digital persona, managed step by step, growing gradually but continuously.

Two principles the whole engagement was built on

Consistency Over Perfection
"LinkedIn doesn't reward perfection. It rewards consistency."

300 days of consistent publishing turned into a 378% lift in impressions — the graph climbs in a line, not a spike.

You, Without Involving You
"The aim isn't to make you viral. The aim is to make you you on LinkedIn — without involving you."

He kept running the business. The persona, the calendar and the network were ours to run.

Four workstreams, run without the founder in the loop

1
Digital persona setup

A persona rooted in his own personality — voice, positioning, and the things he'd actually say. Not a generic thought-leader template.

2
Content that connects

Written for the audience he wants in the room, in formats he was comfortable with — including ones that don't need his face.

3
Expertise beyond the bio

Surfaced the expertise listed on his profile — and the expertise that never made it there, usually the more interesting half.

4
A network that adds value

A network chosen for relevance, not headcount — so the follower count means something when it moves.
